The Faith of All Believers Prevails

To man's undiscerning eye, the generations come and go, fading one into the other, ultimately passing from the face of the earth. As the march of future history progresses, only the land remains, while men, women, and children live, grow, and die and then return to the earth from which they came. So seemingly swallowed into nothingness by a infinite universe. In reality, however, the land is the stage upon which a drama of unparallel eternal significance is played within the hearts and minds of every person who sets foot upon it. Unseen by those around us, often uncomprehended by ourselves, the choices and values of our earthly lives mould and determine our destiny into the next life. Either the wide path to forever suffering and burning in the lake of fire, or the narrow path to the painless and without sadness, paradise. But the Christian heritage continues, ultimately surviving millenniums of torture and criticism from nonbelievers, passing gradually from one generation to the next, with the hand of God infusing life through the answered prayers of the righteous. One can never tell what methods God will use, nor when the fulfillment of prayers long silent will come. But God's purposes are always accomplished. The prayers of the Christians resound through the heavens, awaiting the moment when their fulfillment is at hand. And so, let us hope and believe the Christian heritage will never fade away, but with God on our side, it will only grow into a worldwide heritage and dominion if we just believe by faith only, to have the strength to go on when all odds are against our belief. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
